Ramadan Iftar + Panel Talk on Aboriginal – Muslim Historical Relations..
Participate in ‘Iftar’, the ‘breaking of the fast’ during Ramadan with a special program that includes a panel talk about the long-standing historical relations between Aboriginal tribes and Muslims prior to white colonisation and settlement.
With special guest speakers, including Noongar Elder and Artist Neta Knapp, learn about this rich history, and discover why millions of Muslims fast during Ramadan each year. Light refreshments provided.
Please note the panel talk for this event will be Auslan interpreted running between 5pm – 6pm.
