Palestine 1948-2024: Our Nakbah Continues

Join us to show your solidarity with Palestine on the 76th anniversary of the Nakba (Catastrophe).

When the State of Israel was founded on 15 May 1948, Zionists militia forcibly displaced 750,000 Palestinians and ethnically cleansed 530 villages. That Nakba continues to this day.

Today, the State of Israel is engaged in a campaign of genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, and a renewed campaign of ethnic cleansing in the West Bank.

Since 7 October last year, Israel has systematically destroyed hospitals, schools, homes, mosques and churches. Mass graves have been located at two hospital sites in Khan Younis, where hundreds of victims have been buried amidst the rubble.

Stand with us to demand an end to Israel’s genocide. We call on the Australian governments to:
• impose an immediate two-way arms embargo on Israel and urge other states to do the same
• break diplomatic ties with Israel, including expelling the Israeli ambassador from Canberra and recalling Australia’s ambassador in Tel Aviv
• ban entry to Australia from all Israeli government representatives and illegal settlers guilty of war crimes
• impose trade sanctions on Israel, beginning with a complete ban on the import of all products made in illegal Israeli settlements.
