Shaykh Shabir Moosa heads CIEA – Centre for Islamic Economics Australia and has been serving in various capacities for the last 20 years. He holds a B.A. (Hons.) degree in Islamic Studies and Islamic Business Law, Legal Theory and Jurisprudence from the Zakariyya Seminary, a CDIF Dip. Islamic Finance from CIMA, a ACIFE financial analysis and has a CSAA license as a Certified Islamic Finance and Banking Advisor and Auditor whilst his academic journey continues whilst lecturing in various disciplines of Higher Islamic Studies at Jaam’iah al-Ulum al-islamiyyah [Australian Institute for Islamic Sciences] in Perth, Australia and serves the Perth community in various capacities.
