Dr. Rateb Jneid has various areas of business expertise including building and construction, land subdivision and import and export. Most notably, he served on a number of community organisations, school and institution boards.

Dr. Jneid holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from Murdoch University, Master of Islamic Education, Master of Business, and a Master of Education (Leadership & Management)- both from the University of Notre Dame Australia, a Master of Law from Deakin University, a Doctor of Business Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Business Law from Curtin University.

Dr. Jneid appointed in September 2017 as an Associate Professor at King's International University (School of Management, Commerce, and Law).
Dr. Jneid was elected the President of the Australian Federation of the Islamic Councils (AFIC) in April 2017, which is the peak body for Muslims in Australia.
