Australian Counselling Clinic
I would like to offer subsidised counselling for Muslim brothers and sisters.
I established Australian Counselling Clinic to help find ways to resolve personal or psychological problems collaboratively with clients. I chose my business name to be Australian Counselling Clinic to represent all Australians and their counselling needs which include Aboriginal counselling, Non-aboriginal Australians, culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) Australians, and people who are in Australia but have yet not been recognised as Australian citizens but are making our country beautiful in different ways, like students and other expatriates. I offer counselling for clients being supported by NDIS scheme as well.
People often seek therapy when their self-narratives are no longer working for them and when expectations do not match with the reality. I believe we all go through highs and lows in life, but if our bio-psycho-social requirements are imbalanced, its possible that we struggle to get back up.
I take interest in working with individuals, couples, and families, experiencing a range of issues and difficulties. I have a special interest in working in the following areas:
-
Self-doubt versus self-efficacy
-
Trauma
-
Depression
-
Anxiety
-
Relationship conflicts
-
Alcohol and drug misuse
-
Shame and vulnerability
I have studied and applied the following therapeutic approaches:
-
Person Centred Therapy
-
Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-

-
Attachment-based Theory
