54 Reasons – Strength2Strength
Good afternoon.
My name is Alia and I am the Community Engagement Worker at 54 Reasons Armadale ( previously known as Save the Children Australia).
I am writing to let you that 54 Reasons is currently running a fun and free after-school program called Strength to Strength in Perth South Metropolitain, targeted to High School Boys and Girls from Culturally and Linguistically diverse backgrounds.
The Strength-to-Strength program is a Family Domestic Violence prevention program ( early intervention) through various sports activities and workshops. In this program, we discuss, confront, and reframe attitudes toward manhood, masculinity, and violence toward women in a culturally appropriate manner within local CALD communities
Where: Fountain College,12 Karri Way, Ferndale.
When: every Thursday from 4pm to 6pm. *We also provide the participants with afternoon nibbles *.
Who: High School Boys and Girls from Culturally Diverse Backgrounds.
Target Geography: City of Canning.
We are welcoming and currently have the capacity for more high school boys from culturally diverse backgrounds to join this program. I have attached the flyer of the program to this email with more details, please feel free to spread the word with your colleagues, networks, and communities.
