Good Morning,
The Canning Vale Senior Football Club is hoping you can support our community group by promoting our activities.
Being involved in community groups is important for people. We offer to increase physical activity to improve people’s health and fitness particularly mental health. We provide a community for people to belong to and a support network they can rely upon. Our club mentors young people who are prone to high-risk behaviours to help them make good life choices which reduces the impacts on themselves, their families and the community and develops them into future community leaders.
Students need healthy activities in their lives as a break away from their studies. Those leaving Year 12 are encouraged to get involved with us so they can maintain involvement with other people.
We are particularly eager for more Women and Culturally & Linguistically Diverse community members to become involved in our club. We cater for all skill levels. The club will develop the skills of people who have limited or no exposure to AFL.
Our change room facilities are new and we can ensure privacy for all. Women can wear Hijabs and long sleeves during training and games. There are several Muslim women playing community football and we are eager to encourage increased participation.
We also have a Masters Team for people 32+ years who are interested.
